Bongani ‘Masta-B’ Mahlangu began his DJ career back in 2004 while still in High School. It all started as a mobile DJ Playing at parties around Soweto for free, his DJ skills introduced him to the club DJ scene where he would meet and share the decks with other DJ's/producers: DJ Sbu (TS Records), Zan-D, Terrance (Music Box), Ganyani, DJ Fresh (5FM), Sai (soulful kollective), Black Coffee, DJ Kent, Charles Webster (UK) and the list goes on. He was featured on well known Radio stations around South Africa : YFM, Thetha FM and as a resident DJ on a local TV show ''Your Late Mate'' hosted by Nimrod Nkosi on Soweto TV. His monthly podcasts were heard around the globe and was also featured as a guest DJ on one of the Internet radio station (funkylicious). He would spend most of his free time streaming to internet radio stations, that’s when we saw a gap of Internet radio stations in South Africa. He decided to fill the gap with.........yes that’s right ‘’House Frequency'', which has became one of the most popular broadcasts within the house community both Locally and Internationally. HF attracts the most dedicated DJs, producers and house music lovers from around the globe. It wasn’t easy running the station alone, with the help of Ovet, The Moodyfreaks, Russel Joseph, Ralf Gum and others involved both local and International, today HF is a success and still going strong. Masta-B hosts a weekly show ‘’New Material’’ which delivers latest exclusive house tunes (soulful, jazzy, vocal) from all around the globe including locally produced house tunes. I would like to express how I feel about house music, how much I appreciate music, so let the music do the talking........www.housefrequency.net
